Sooraj Barjatya, who has been out of the picture for seven years, returns with a mixed bag of feelings, including love, loss, dreams, desires, friendship, failures, and self-belief, conviction, and a promise to your loved ones and, most importantly, to yourself.

Together, Bachchan, Kher, and Irani are a riot. Their camaraderie immediately brings to mind Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, despite the fact that they are coping with a different set of life challenges.
They are unsurpassed in their skill and finesse on television. While Kher is the cry-baby but the sweetest and most relatable of the three, Bachchan, who is the most organised and certain of the three, persuades the others to join them on their trekking excursion.
Irani performs with charm and charms you with his performance. They create a cute couple with his wife Shabina (Neena Gupta).

You get the impression from their chemistry that age is irrelevant for love. Neena brightens the scene with her facial expressions, dialogue delivery, and on-screen presence.
As lovely as these characters are, Sunil Gandhi also wrote a tale for the movie that is heavy on emotion and never boring. Abhishek Dixit’s dialogues, which seem appropriate in every circumstance, beautifully compliment the story.
I admired how he attempts to inject a hint of humour despite the dire circumstances without making it appear forced. The film could have been easily 20 minutes shorter and the editing by Shweta Venkat Mathew could have been a little sharper, but you don’t really complain about the length because the story keeps you interested.
Uunchai turns out to be the ideal family film thanks to Amit Trivedi’s soothing music, which isn’t forced into the story.
